As we officially step into 2026, we are thrilled to say the words we’ve been counting down to — this is Allen Sports Association’s 50th Anniversary year!

For five decades, ASA has proudly been “The place where kids come to play,” growing from a small community program into one of the most impactful youth sports organizations in North Texas. This milestone year is about celebrating you — the athletes, coaches, volunteers, alumni, and families who have shaped ASA’s story across generations.

🎊 What’s Coming in Our 50th Anniversary Year

We’re kicking off a full year of celebrations, memories, and surprises, including:

• Monthly 50th Anniversary newsletters, each spotlighting an ASA sport in the order it became part of our organization

• Social media features highlighting each sport, ASA player alumni, and fun historical facts from our archives

• Special recognitions and giveaways throughout the year

• And a giant, family-focused 50th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, November 8 at the Stephen Terrell Recreation Center — a can’t-miss event for the entire ASA community
